Stuart Trager, M.D.
Director
Stuart Trager, M.D. is a board certified practicing orthopedic surgeon and fitness expert
who graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and was Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery
at Graduate Hospital before relocating to Pennsylvania Hospital, where he is continuing his practice of orthopedic surgery.
He also founded Elite Health & Wellness at Pennsylvania Hospital. Dr. Trager's research in fitness has appeared in
numerous highly respected journals, and he has been invited to speak at many national meetings, including the American
College of Cardiology, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the Milken Institute Global Conference, the TIME/ABC
News Summit on Obesity, and the International Society of Sports Nutrition. He is an eight time Ironman and top ten finisher
at the Ultraman World Championship competition.
Dr. Trager has been in practice in Philadelphia since 1992, and lives with his wife and two daughters in
Villanova, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Trager has been involved with securing orthopedic services for PROP (Pendill Russian Orphans Fund) children and
serving in a medical advisory capacity to PROP. |
